Through local Indigenous facilitators and the medicine wheel, you are invited to gain a better understanding of the challenges that local Indigenous people face.

  • Learn about Indigenous culture, history, treaties, contemporary issues of concern, Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action and many other topics.
  • Service providers will learn how to engage with Indigenous clients and to assist them in achieving their training and employment goals.
  • Take home tools will be provided to promote meaningful engagement with the Indigenous community and to foster inclusive work environments.
